Syrah or Shiraz is a Mediterranean variety famous worldwide for rich red wines.
Our Memento is an ode to fine things in life, moments worth living, and remembering.
Wine has a ruby color with purple rims, a medium body at 14,5% alc, elegant structure with soft tannins. Notes of blueberry, cherry with earth, leather, on a medium-plus intensity nose, medium acidity. We suggest decanting for 30 minutes.
We have started vintage 2021 with handpicked grapes in the first part of September, four days of cold soak with the addition of whole cluster grapes, we let the fermentation start with native yeast and gently press after about 3 weeks of fermentation and maceration. Élevage in small barrels of French, American, and Slavonian oak where it remained for 12 months.
