Released after one year in bottle.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Winemaking&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1588181276007-8a8983c3-519a&#8221;][vc_column_text]Our Barone started its life with the early harvest on the 24th of August 2011. Cab was rich and dense with about 10-15% of raisiny grapes and we added about 30% of Plavina directly in the bin to lower down the natural sugars and bring back some of the acidity. The result is a very special wine with 15,5% abv, a one or two in a decade, a fortress.<\/p>\n<p>Fermented in open vats and stainless steel tanks with multiple daily hand punch-downs\/pigeage.
