Srima is a peninsula surrounded and intertwined by century-old stone drywalls, there are more than 500km of them concentrated in a very small area and because of that the whole peninsula is now culturally protected as a heritage site. We were always inspired by the stone, it is an essential part of Dalmatia, local tradition and culture. This is the reason we named our wine Mocira, a bit forgotten word for stone drywalls. Nomen est omen.
Wine is an intensely deep ruby color, medium body, and pronounced tannic structure. Leather and fruit are intertwined in this unique vintage with medium-plus acidity and we believe this can age quite a bit more. Unfortunately, due to low yield, only 760 bottles are produced and we have less than 80 bottles in the cellar.
