Srima is a peninsula surrounded and intertwined by century-old stone drywalls, there are more than 500km of them concentrated in a very small area and because of that the whole peninsula is now culturally protected as a heritage site. We were always inspired by the stone, it is an essential part of Dalmatia, local tradition and culture. This is the reason we named our wine Mocira, a bit forgotten word for stone drywalls. Nomen est omen.

Wine has a ruby color, light to medium body with 13% alc, and nice easy structure with round tannins. Mostly red fruit with leather on a medium intensity nose, medium plus acidity. Mocira 2018 is a nice introduction to Baraka wines and a perfect companion to a wide range of food and as an easy-going party starter.

Mocira 2019 is a blend of mostly Plavina and Babić with a small touch of Plavac Mali.

Harvest started in the middle of September with Plavina, following with Babić and Plavac Mali the next day. Grape went through cold soaking for 2-3 days until onset of fermentation with natural yeast. Total skin contact time was about two weeks and after gentle pressing, wine was racked into mostly neutral barrique and 500l barrels. Aged 12 months in oak.
