Srima is a peninsula surrounded and intertwined by century-old stone drywalls, there are more than 500km of them concentrated in a very small area and because of that the whole peninsula is now culturally protected as a heritage site. We were always inspired by the stone, it is an essential part of Dalmatia, local tradition and culture. This is the reason we named our wine Mocira, a bit forgotten word for stone drywalls. Nomen est omen.
Wine has a ruby color, light to medium body with 13% alc, and nice easy structure with round tannins. Mostly red fruit with leather on a medium intensity nose, medium plus acidity. Mocira 2018 is a nice introduction to Baraka wines and a perfect companion to a wide range of food and as an easy-going party starter.
Mocira 2019 is a blend of mostly Plavina and Babić with a small touch of Plavac Mali.
