Srima is a peninsula surrounded and intertwined by century-old stone drywalls, there are more than 500km of them concentrated in a very small area and because of that the whole peninsula is now culturally protected as a heritage site. We were always inspired by the stone, it is an essential part of Dalmatia, local tradition and culture. This is the reason we named our wine Mocira, a bit forgotten word for stone drywalls. Nomen est omen.

Wine has a ruby color, light to medium body with 12,5% alc, and nice easy structure with round tannins. Red and black fruit with leather on a medium intensity nose, medium acidity. Mocira 2017 is a nice introduction to Baraka wines and a perfect companion to a wide range of food and as an easy-going party starter.

Bottled in August 2019.

Harvest started in the middle of September with Merlot and Syrah, following with Plavina and Babić the next day. Grape went through cold soaking for 2-3 days until onset of fermentation with natural yeast. Total skin contact time was about two weeks and after gentle pressing, wine was racked into mostly neutral barrique barrels and stainless steel. Bottling was done in August, 2019
