Our Barone started its life with early harvest on 24th of August 2011. Cab was rich and dense with about 10-15% of raisiny grapes and we added about 30% of Plavina directly in the bin to lower down the natural sugars and bring back some of the acidity. The result is a very special wine with 15,5% abv, a one in a decade, a fortress.
