On March 3, 2025, thanks to great organization of Vinart team, we had the pleasure of hosting a private tasting at Baraka Winery with Master of Wine Wojciech Bońkowski. As an expert on Central and Eastern European wines, Wojciech’s visit was a special opportunity to present our wines and engage in a conversation about Dalmatian terroir and winemaking.

The tasting was led by winemaker Filip Baraka and attended by Wojciech, Magda, and their dog Merida, creating a laid-back but engaging atmosphere. With wines ranging from bright, youthful vintages to complex aged selections, the session was a chance to discuss our approach to winemaking and the character of our vineyards.
We look forward to Wojciech’s impressions and to continuing discussions on the evolution of our wines. Until then, we remain committed to expressing the best of Dalmatian terroir in every bottle.
Wojciech Bońkowski is a Master of Wine (MW), wine writer, and editor specializing in Central and Eastern European wines. He is the first Polish Master of Wine, an esteemed journalist, and the founder of Winicjatywa, Poland’s leading wine website. Bońkowski has written extensively about wine, particularly focusing on lesser-known European wine regions, and has authored several books, including guides on Italian, Hungarian, and Polish wines.
He is also a wine judge at international competitions, regularly contributing to Decanter and other top wine publications. His deep knowledge and analytical approach to wine tasting make him a respected authority in the field.
